About surveyATL

In 2014, Atlanta was named the most unequal city in the United States. It was still that way in 2019.

In a city that’s growing and developing rapidly, it’s important to make sure that the people who helped build the culture, integrity,  and legacy of Atlanta are heard and respected in shaping Atlanta’s future. We want your voice to be heard and valued in shaping the future of our city.

We invite you to participate in our 2020 Civic Engagement Survey. The survey asks residents for opinions on subjects such as how you participate in community activities and your relationship with local government.

The Center for Civic Innovation is a non-profit organization that unites people who are fighting to end social and economic inequality in Atlanta. We inspire people to take action, invest in promising homegrown ideas, and advocate for policy to make Atlanta more equal. We believe strengthening civic engagement — connecting residents with the knowledge and resources to design solutions in response to local challenges — is key.

About the Survey

The NPU Initiative Survey is a ‘pulse check’ on what civic engagement looks like in the city of Atlanta on the neighborhood level. We want to know how people engage with their city, and how the NPU system fits into their understanding of Atlanta’s decision-making process.
