Leadership Breakfast with Aretta Baldon
For our January Leadership Breakfast, we sat down with Aretta Badon, the newly-elected Atlanta School Board representative for District 2. Ms. Baldon won a special election in October 2019 to represent central Atlanta’s District 2, and she took her seat on the board at the end of 2019. Ms. Baldon and the School Board will make a key decision in 2020: the choice of the new school superintendent.
We spoke to the newly-elected public official and learned about her love for data and research, the importance of having diverse identities at the table, and her goals for her new position on the School Board. Check out our 5 favorite moments from the Leadership Breakfast:
