Marketing and External Affairs Manager

The Center for Civic Innovation is looking for a full-time Marketing and External Affairs Manager. This person is our chief content creator and storyteller to the world. The position is intended to amplify the work, story, and values of the Center for Civic Innovation to a local and national audience of people. This position is also responsible for regular communications (online and offline) about our work with partner organizations and key stakeholders, while also showing up for them in unique and authentic ways at their events, opportunities, and programs. This role makes sure every room and opportunity that the Center for Civic Innovation opens up for programs and services is filled with people who look like and love Atlanta and that we build a platform for our work and learnings to be shared with the world.  Read the full job description and apply here. Love using writing or design as tools for creative storytelling and placemaking? Do you tweet and #igdaily, and are looking for a way to use your social skills for good? You’re in luck – we are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our crew for the fall semester and support our team.

Research and Policy Analysis Intern
Do you have strong feelings about SPLOSTs, tax abatement, and the EITC? Is your idea of relaxation a cozy evening spent catching up on Governing Magazine and Peach Pundit? Then the research and policy internship is for you! This intern will help us collect, analyze, and report on local data on a variety of topics relevant to our work.

Fellowship Intern
This intern will work with our Civic Entrepreneurship team, which is responsible for our trainings, events, and fellowship programs that support community leaders creating social and economic impact. We hope you like juggling, because working with civic entrepreneurs can often be a circus! But it’s also some of the most rewarding work we do at CCI.

The Center for Civic Innovation is seeking a Fall Intern who wants to develop their skills in event planning, management, and placemaking. This intern will work with our People, Happiness and Experience team to make sure every visitor has a great experience in our space, whether they are here for a meeting, coworking, or an event.
