CIVIC IMPACT AWARDS

Atlanta is home to some of the world's most powerful social movements. It is built on a history of people coming together to tackle challenges bigger than their own. Today that spirit of organizing and progress is alive in the city. Every day, we meet people who are on the ground, tackling inequality in topics like education, food security, criminal justice, and more.

The Center for Civic Innovation launched the Civic Impact Awards to celebrate the people who put in the time and energy day in and day out to change the lives of other people for the better. Without them, the story of Atlanta is incomplete. Every year we seek candidates for seven categories, honoring 3 finalists in each.

2016 Awards

In year number two we received even more amazing nominations for our 7 award categories. On December 8th, 2016 we gathered with over 170 of our closest friends to celebrate ATLiens making our city amazing. See our finalists here and the winners here.

2015 Awards

For our first ever Civic Impact Awards we hosted over 170 guests and handed out 8 awards to some pretty remarkable Atlantans. You can see a recap of our ceremony and the award recipients here
