Are you passionate about how food affects our communities? Whether it is the types of foods people are eating, the availability of healthy options in our neighborhoods, or the role food plays in our local economies, we are seeking those passionate about solving local problems using food as a tool.

On July 30, 2015, we launched our Food Innovation Network, in partnership with Food Well Alliance. As part of our Civic Networks program, the Food Innovation Network will have specially-curated events, opportunities for one-on-one advising, and an online community to share resources and ideas.

This event and network are great for anyone interested in:

  • Growing & using local food,
  • Starting a food business,
  • Diet, nutrition and health, or
  • Food access.

About our partnerSHIP

Center for Civic Innovation and Food Well Alliance have partnered to re-imagine and re-create the Food Innovation Network. The strategic collaboration brings together Food Well Alliance’s emphasis on supporting Atlanta’s local food movement with CCI’s ability to provide technical capacity and skill-building to our city’s problem solvers and social entrepreneurs. Both CCI and Food Well Alliance believe we can build healthier communities and address Atlanta’s local food challenges by providing educators, entrepreneurs, and community organizers a collaborative platform to strengthen their business models, financial management, and design-thinking.
