They are doing this by providing resources, educational programs, and sustainable modes of food distribution for farmers, producers, chefs, and consumers.
Community Guilds is a Georgia nonprofit that aims to support and encourage underrepresented students to get a better education. CORPORATE CIVIC IMPACT AWARD
Creative Loafing is Atlanta’s newsweekly highlighting the arts, culture, local news, politics, food, music and events of the city. They write the stories that are most important to the city of Atlanta, holding those in power accountable. They also create a space -- on paper, social media, and in person with their events -- for people to let out their love (or frustration) with their city.
King of Pops
King of Pops was born out of a love for paletas and a job layoff that left founder Steven Carse with no excuse not to follow his dream of bringing gourmet pops to Atlanta. With its popsicle carts and commitment to fresh, all-natural frozen desserts, King of Pops wants to help members of Atlanta’s community live happy and healthy.
